It was thanks to their shared passion for Pinot Noir that the brothers Christoph and Thomas Baum-Barth refocused the family winery on quality in 2020. This included reducing yields and harvesting exclusively by hand. As part of sustainable production, they are currently working towards purely biodynamic cultivation. For us, the winery in the Pinot hotspot of Ingelheim is a new discovery: the polished, floating Pinot Noirs, like the award-worthy Chardonnay, show a beautiful, light yet expressive style.
