Portugal's wine treasure is immeasurable – there are more than 500 indigenous grape varieties and a unique mix of terroirs between the Atlantic and the mountains that you won't find anywhere else. Anyone who has followed the wines over the years will now realize that the country's winemakers – many of whom work in various regions – have done their homework.
