Region
Rheinhessen, Germany
Germany's largest wine-growing region (26,500 hectares) was a wallflower for a long time, considered more a provenance of nameless branded wines...
On the nose, honey candy, yeasty notes, some fresh herbs. A juicy interplay of sweetness and acidity on the palate, the carbonic acid is brisk and fresh, but fades relatively quickly, spices and fresh herbs on the finish. A pleasant aperitif.
