Marcello Demner and Ilan Molcho fill the minimalist liqueur bottle with La Dolce Vita. With their Iloncello, developed in partnership, they want to bring the basis for the trendy spritz of the year to trendy restaurants.

When a gastronomy innovator and an advertising professional join forces, you can bet your money that the result will be a product with great trend potential. And when the friendship factor is added to the expertise, then authenticity is not neglected either. Iloncello is the name of the limoncello jointly created by Neni Managing Director Ilan Molcho and DMB Managing Director Marcello Demner. The interior and its shell are correspondingly well thought out. Ilan Molcho's high standards for a purified and desugared list of ingredients and Demner's branding school form a harmonious whole here. The smart name Iloncello – a portmanteau of the two friends' first names – does the rest.

Limoncello made in Austria

The shared passion for the sweet and sour liqueur was the starting point for the collaboration, explains Marcello Demner, as was the desire to develop a product that stands out from the limoncello tradition. They took two years to do this. Demner describes the result as a "meeting of passion, design, gastronomy and the harmony of our collaboration".

And what's inside? "Less sugar, no frills. Just lemon, alcohol and a little sugar. The quality of the lemons makes the difference. And the lemon zest gives the whole thing a bitter note," explains Ilan Molcho. The liqueur is produced in Austria.

The Iloncello will be used by selected partners in the gastronomy sector as a base for cocktails or as a refinement: "We prefer to drink it as a spritz". The limoncello is currently already available to order from Neni, with selected partners in the restaurant and bar scene set to follow.
