Tasting Notes
An immediate scent of Mirabelle plum, ripe and rich, still suffused with some smoke, makes for a rounded, almost toasty nose. That smouldering sense of smoke also colours the palate which comes with great freshness, lively bubbles, an ever-present sense of smoky, rounded toastiness and a certain brisk vein of bright freshness. The bubbles are fine and lively and the finish is long with fine, lemony briskness and just and edge of lemon pith bitterness in all that poise.
