Tasting Notes
A touch of Mirabelle still plays on the nose, there is a touch of baked apricot and smoke, too, and a sense of self-contained compactness. The palate is tight, concentrated, but alive with fine freshness and a tea-like, Darjeeling depth that has echoes of autumn leaf, rye bread and exquisite freshness. This is strikingly balanced, effortlessly harmonious, rounded, still fruity. The gentler mousse also makes this seem rounder. The finish is beautifully clean and fresh.
