Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. On the nose, fresh, sweet cherries, red fruits of the forest confit, a hint of liquorice and a background note of candied orange zest. Full-bodied, underpinned with sweet cherries, silky tannins, mineral, fresh and a persistent finish. An elegant food wine, with definite ageing potential for many years.
