Region
Rheinhessen, Germany
Germany's largest wine-growing region (26,500 hectares) was a wallflower for a long time, considered more a provenance of nameless branded wines...
Pale pink. Delicate aromas of fine red fruits, apple peel, some rosehips and mint, a touch of pear, refined and savoury. Very juicy and appealing on the palate, lively acidity, a slight sweetness, cherry, grapefruit, subtle phenolics, fresh on the finish, drinking very well.
