Through selective hand harvesting and careful cellar management, Hannes Jöbstl, the "Master of Schilcher", creates remarkable wines and personally guarantees the highest quality, drinking pleasure and perfect varietal typicity. Eight times Styrian regional winner and twenty times in the "Salon Austria Wine": this testifies to high quality.
The love of the Jöbstls belongs to the variety Blauer Wildbacher, from which the Schilcher is made. Like no other wine, this one transports the charm of its provenance. Only here, in the southwestern Styrian hills and mountains, is the home of the genuine Schilcher. In the tastefully furnished "Schilcherei" you can convince yourself of this in a welcoming atmosphere.
The style of the Jöbstl winery and the identity of the vintage are reflected in an impressive variety. But not only the most diverse Schilcher varieties are created here: the assortment ranges from the fragrant, delicately radiant Muskateller to the elegant Sauvignon Blanc, the fruity Zweigelt and the dense, velvety Blauer Wildbacher to the unique, ruby-red, sweet Schnürlwein. The topic of "vegan" is also a big issue at Johannes and Luise Jöbstl, and so you can enjoy both vegan wines and natural juices with them.
For the current vintage, they have even dispensed with animal ingredients in the fining agents, label adhesives, etc.

The tasting offer on site was also expanded: ten unique Schilcher (white, rosé, red; sparkling, still, dry and sweet) can be sampled, accompanied by ten affineur cheeses.
