A year ago, Lisa and Philipp Smula launched "Ohnerausch", a new online store with a "pick-up door" for non-alcoholic alternatives – from bitters to proxies, fizzy drinks and non-alcoholic wines to aperitifs. Now they are opening their first own store on Aumannplatz in the 18th district – a "living room of non-alcoholic alternatives". After three weeks of soft opening, they will celebrate the official opening on May 22, 2026.

"We look forward to welcoming everyone who is curious and wants to get to know non-alcoholic alternatives," says Philipp Smula, who wants to create a place for discussions, workshops and tastings with his store. The focus should not be on talking shop, but on providing uncomplicated access to high-quality non-alcoholic products.

We don't want complex events where you have to memorize tasting notes or guess flavor profiles. We want people to be able to form their own opinion without stress. No pressure to taste the chalky soil on the southern slope. We make a very simple distinction: it tastes good or it doesn't taste good.

The new store will also host events in the future. For guests and visitors there is a glass from the monthly changing "minibar" available. With the pick-up option, ordered products can also be collected directly from the store.
