Delhi to Milan leads the way with Vienna and Copenhagen following.

Three years after the pandemic caused the closure of the service, this month has seen the return of the Air India direct route from Delhi to the Italian city of Milan.

Confirming the move, Air India also revealed details of flights restarting from the Indian city to Vienna and Copenhagen, the airline looking to strengthen its European presence.

The four-times-a-week Milan route commenced on February 1 with a flight time of around 8 hours and 30 minutes, running Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 14.20 local time; the return flights leave on the same day at 20.00 Milan time.

February 18 will see the start of the Vienna service, and Delhi to Copenhagen will commence on March 1 – all European destinations served by Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
