Tasting Notes
Again a translucent colour of rich garnet. The nose at first sends a note of earth, of stone, followed by a hint of caramel and supple plum. The palate is far gentler: there is creaminess but also a lovely balance and subtlety. It is the shape of the wine, the creamy frame that envelopes bright cherry and juicy, tart plum that defines this wine. The firmness of the tannins becomes apparent on the finish. A wonderfully elegant and super-fresh rendition of a powerful wine. The finish shows immense fruit, freshness and length. Wow.
