As a gastro bar, el Tato combines two things: authentic Latin American cuisine - from ceviche to tacos - and professional bar culture with top drinks. Reservations are only possible for groups of five or more, but later in the evening it can get crowded and the atmosphere turns into a party mood.
Taqueria, tequila and bar atmosphere: at Comal, close to Sendlinger Tor, ice-cold margaritas and spicy tacos are served over the counter and it's easy to get lost - on the sidewalk by the open window in summer or before a long night of partying. A relaxed crowd and good food.
Bodega Dali probably has the most charming tapas ambience in the city. Especially in the colder months, the vaulted cellar is cozy and rustic, but in summer you can also sit outside. The tapas menu is large and the wine selection is also impressive. A lovely place!
At the Burrito Company you can get reliably good burritos, either to eat in or - even better - to take away to the nearby Isar. There are many possible combinations - including bowls. Also: nachos and chilli con carne. Delivery and catering are also offered.
Sharing fine tapas and wines with good friends: That's the motto at Amistad. In addition to the classics, there are always creative seasonal specials on the menu. The wine selection and aperitif menu are well worth a closer look. A nice place to sit - inside and out.
Komitee is a cool mix of student pub, bar and restaurant with fusion food such as tacos. Located directly on Gabelsbergerstraße, you can sit on the countered terrace even in bad weather and meet friends, eat and lose track of time over a beer.
Teatro is one of the largest tapas restaurants in Munich and has long since established itself. Typically, you order snacks from the large selection at dark wooden tables and share everything. The wine selection is also impressive. It gets crowded and loud, especially at weekends.
Although at first glance Cometa am Isartor looks more like a fast food restaurant with bold Mexican decorations, the food is really good. The selection is quite large and in addition to tacos, nachos and quesadillas, tamales and cactus leaves are also on offer.
CONDESA was one of the first modern Mexican food concepts in Munich and still stands for burritos, tacos and quesadillas. The dips are also good and the food is suitable for taking to the English Garden for a picnic. There are now three branches.
Between dark leather furniture, rosewood and raffia, CASA MAÑANA quickly gives you that vacation feeling. Fusion tacos, bowls, homemade lemonades and churros do the rest. At lunchtime, the restaurant offers a reduced self-service menu and discounted lunch combos.
