Stepping through the threshold of one of Poland's most esteemed bars, you are instantly transported back about 100 years to pre-war Warsaw. Woda Ognista (meaning «Firewater») pays homage to the 1920s era of Warsaw with vintage shakers, antique framed photographs, and even a menu designed in the style of the time. The cocktail selection is nothing short of genius, with drinks based on traditional flavors from different regions of Poland, using local ingredients to guarantee a memorable mixological journey through the country.

Wilcza 8, 00-532 Warschau, Poland

Long Bar makes an impression as soon as you step inside. The massive marble counter, perfectly balanced lighting, and an enormous collection of rare (truly rare!) bottles on the local shelves - all this, at the least, commands respect. The inspiration for the bar came from the eponymous Singaporean project at the Raffles Hotel, a place undoubtedly legendary. Special attention is given to slings, including the Warsaw sling and, of course, the Singapore sling. Ordering the latter here is highly recommended.

Krakowskie Przedmieście 13, 00-071 Warschau, Poland

A cocktail bar, located on the seventh floor of one of Warsaw's most stylish boutique hotels, Puro, is by definition cannot be ordinary. Pastel tones and rounded shapes are skillfully incorporated into the interior, and clever cocktails inspired by Warsaw and its modernist architecture are complemented by a luxurious rooftop terrace with a unique view of the city center. Stopping by for a couple of cocktails while admiring the sunset is an excellent choice.

Widok 9, 00-023 Warschau, Poland

A lively and daring bar, characterized by its distinct style from the moment you set foot inside. The green walls and shimmering neon lights, coupled with retro-futurism reminiscent of The Jetsons cartoons, and a rounded bar counter, take the level of eccentricity to the maximum. The same playfulness is reflected in the menu, featuring the city's best herring sandwich, pink burrata, fondue, and a Hawaiian toast straight from the 1970s. However, the spotlight truly belongs to the local cocktails - aside from the classic favorites, we highly recommend exploring the «Paloma Cocktails» section, where you'll find gin with rhubarb, lemon fresh, and sparkling wine or gin with Chartreuse, red pepper, basil, and absinthe.

Hoża 58/60, 00-682 Warschau, Poland

This place could easily open somewhere in Manhattan and would fit right in. Regina Bar draws inspiration from the diverse cuisines of New York's immigrants, and it's evident at first glance: some recipes were taken from Chinatown, others borrowed from Little Italy, all mixed in one shaker with an urban interior and poured into crystal glasses. Regina's arsenal includes an excellent selection of unconventional natural wines as well as a wonderful choice of cocktails.
