The Zahner family has been cultivating vines in Truttikon in the Zürcher Weinland since 1963. Niklaus Zahner is the second generation to run the business. He is one of the pioneers of viticulture in German-speaking Switzerland. His philosophy was shaped by experiences in Oregon, USA, where he discovered in the early 1990s that the cool climate of eastern Switzerland is ideal for producing elegant wines. The Zahner family produces first-class Pinot Noir, from basic wines to ambitious premium growths, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Blanc Barrique round out the range.
