For centuries, the name of the Liechtenstein family has been inextricably linked with viticulture in the northern Weinviertel. Today, Princess Marie is involved in the Hofkellerei together with the innovative and experienced team led by Stefan Tscheppe and Josef Stumvoll.
The wines of the Hofkellerei are closely linked to the distinctive vineyards such as Karlsberg and Johannesbergen and the family's long-standing heritage. Freshness, precision, authenticity and inspiration are the hallmarks of these superb wines. In the centuries-old vaulted cellars, Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Zweigelt and Merlot mature in small batches to produce wines of fine structure, distinctive vintage characteristics and expressiveness.
At the heart of the production, in Wilfersdorf, visitors are guided through the new press house to the cellar vaults, where the vintages from 1957 onwards are stored in the Vinothek. In the modern reception room, wines can be savoured and paired with local delicacies.
In the newly designed cellars of the Gartenpalais, the wine shop and bar in Vienna's 9th district, Fürstengasse, set in the magnificent park of the Gartenpalais, the wines are offered for tasting and sale, together with local specialities.
