Domaine des Alouettes

Falstaff Wineguide Switzerland 2023/24

Located in Bourdigny, in the heart of the commune of Satigny, Domaine des Alouettes is a 17-hectare vineyard with an excellent location. Located on the right bank of the Rhône, it has a complex terroir, mainly clay and limestone, planted with ten grape varieties. Family-owned since 1946, Jean-Daniel Ramu introduced a more sustainable and environmentally friendly farming method to the estate back in the 1980s. Together with his son Florian, since 2013 he has focused on continuously improving grape quality by controlling yields. The winery promotes biodiversity and applies the ÖLN and Vitiswiss rules. Regularly awarded at national competitions, the wines of Domaine des Alouettes are authentic and must be discovered. The assemblage "Noir Plaisir" is a must.
