"Ethnic Cuisine" Restaurants in Dubrovačko-neretvanska županija
Nestled within the city's fortress walls, the restaurant's view is probably one of the most beautiful in the country. The wine list offers some 500 wines, while Marijo Curić conjures up delicacies such as scallop tartare with kohlrabi mousse, yuzu gel and tarragon oil.
Close to the airport, but still overlooking a picturesque bay. The presentation of the dishes is appealing, the cuisine is without frills, the basis are fresh vegetables, fish and meat. The tortelli with lavender and almonds is delicious.
Sympathetic konoba at the marina. The simple dishes of the fishermen experience a renaissance here and captivate with intense flavours. An experience for oyster fans - they are served raw, grilled or in a tempura batter with a black truffle cream.
An old school family business and the sound of the sea comes free of charge. The restaurant is known for its various fish dishes, but the focus is on starters and pasta, says Gordan. If they are good, the guest is happy.
Niko is a passionate host, you immediately feel at home in the rustic konoba. On Ston, it has to be oysters, of course, but the kitchen can do even more. Much of the food is organically grown, and Niko and his brother catch their own fish.
The atmosphere of the terrace is a dream, and the seats are in high demand in the summer. The creamy tuna mousse promises a successful start and the steamed octopus has a lot of flavour. The desserts are also very fine, and the wine list is pleasingly comprehensive.
The location directly by the sea with a terrace is beautiful. Host Krešimir Pandža and his team spoil guests with regional delicacies: raw marinated tuna, fritto misto, mussels in tomato broth or fish risotto. Good Croatian wines.
From the somewhat elevated, spacious terrace you have a beautiful view of the marina. Here you can get what you don't get everywhere: sea eggs, oysters, fish mousse or stew with mussels, tomatoes and fresh herbs.
In a wildly romantic bay, where many sailors also dock, enjoyment still goes in the style of old fishing tradition. The chef of the house lovingly takes care of baking bread, oysters, pasta or grilled fish and their own vegetables taste wonderful.
Hosts Edin and Edina stand for traditional Bosnian cuisine and diversity - a perfect match. The homemade flatbread filled with veal and stewed tomatoes is a dream. Great importance is also attached to coffee culture.
